Ice Flows...

Here is an editing suggestion for Anthony's Ice shot....

First of all, I love the isolation of the slabs of broken ice and the repetition of the form.

Editing light and contrast for snow and ice can be tricky.  If it is too dark, it can look dull and lifeless... too light and it will be blown out and without texture... also a problem.

I used Levels (ctrl-L) and moved the highlight slider in, while moving the middle tone slider to the right, to raise the contrast at the same time I lightened the white value... See the improvement?

We always want to edit for focal point and light...to direct the viewers eye....
